ACCESS TO FTP SITE
Attention:
Please obtain the username, password, and password type assigned for
your parish/group from the Information Technology (IT) support staff.
This is the FTP login account to upload and download files to your web
site. DO NOT SHARE IT WITH OTHERS.

Obtain a generic
logon account to download the FTP client program from VNCatholic FTP
site (ftp.vncatholic.org)
and save the FTP-Client.exe file on your computer. If the browser
does not show anything, REFRESH your browser.

Double-click on
the FTP-Client.exe file to launch the installation. Just accept all
default selections. The program will lead you through and complete
the process within 1 minute. Restart your computer to
complete the installation when asked.

Click Start ->
All Programs -> WebDrive -> WebDrive icon

 Click
“New Site” button and fill in the following information exactly
shown in Fig. 2 and click Finish

Fill your
username and password in the boxes with red circles. Click
“Advanced” button.

Click down arrow
and select a correct password type as shown in Fig. 4. Then click
OK.

7. Click Connect. Upon
successful connection, Windows Explorer will open with connected X:
drive. Just copy all files/folders of your web site from your computer,
typically C: drive, to X: drive. That's it, very simple.
Notes:

The web server currently supports HTML, Java, Java Script, ASP.NET,
PHP. If your web site has PERL or other scripting languages, please inform us. We will install &
configure add-ins to support such languages.

The main file to start
up your web site should be named index.htm, index.asp, default.asp,
default.htm. If you name the start-up file with a different name or
extension, please change it to a correct start-up file/extension. If
you do not want to change the start-up file name/extension because
of technical reasons, please contact us. Thank you.
